News: New 2024 CIPR board announced

THE Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) has announced the line-up of its board of directors for 2024.

The new board comprises senior public relations and marketing professionals with vast experience working within in-house teams, consultancies, academia, the public sector, not-for-profit organisations, and as independent practitioners.

Honorary officers are president Rachael Clamp, Chart.PR, FCIPR (pictured), vice president Advita Patel Chart.PR, FCIPR, vice president Steve Shepperson-Smith Chart.PR, FCIPR.

Elected members are Noha Al Afifi, MCIPR, Anne Gregory, Hon FCIPR, Dan Gerrella Chart.PR, FCIPR, Hayley James Chart.PR, FCIPR, Anne-Marie Lacey Chart. PR, FCIPR, and Avril Lee, MCIPR.

Co-opted members are Rebecca Deegan – Founder of I Have A Voice (CIC), and Riaz Kanani – Founder and CEO of Radiate B2B.

CIPR president Rachael Clamp Chart.PR FCIPR said, “Taking on the role of CIPR president is a true honour, particularly in what is set to be a significant year of political, economic, and technological change.

The public relations community has a significant role in supporting their organisations and the public through this. Amidst the unpredictability of global economics, geopolitical turmoil, the rapidly evolving technological landscape and the continued rise of misinformation, my commitment as president is to ensure the CIPR is on hand to serve our members by giving you the tools you need to be as effective as possible and to represent your value to the outside world.

I am confident the dedication of this new board will work hard to elevate the experience of each member, reinforced by the exceptional teams at the CIPR and volunteers who are always ready to provide unwavering support.
